BP 14 LUX COK

PVC drip profile with mesh - for the base (plinth) area

Contact us

APPLICATION

For water drainage on insulated facades (external thermal insulation systems).

CHARACTERISTICS

PROPERTIES

  • Drains water away from the surface of the insulated façade
  • Eliminates cracking between the aluminum starter profile (base/sockel) and the render on the insulation
  • Ensures an aesthetic façade finish above the base area
  • Reinforces and conceals joints between aluminum starter profiles

INSTALLATION

It is recommended to use the BP14 LUX COK drip profile with aluminum starter rails.

The BP14 LUX COK profile must be bonded underneath the aluminum starter rail using the integrated foam adhesive tape.

Next, the profile’s fiberglass mesh must be glued onto the insulation surface using the adhesive intended for embedding the reinforcement mesh in “light-wet” insulation systems.

It is then recommended to cover this mesh with the façade mesh, with an overlap of at least 10 cm, and to render both meshes together.

The BP14 LUX COK profile ensures a perfectly straight, clean, and durable lower finish while eliminating the common issue of cracking at the junction between the aluminum starter rail and the finishing render.
