DESCRIPTION


CERESIT® CT 16 facilitates the application of plasters and thin-layer coatings both indoors and outdoors of buildings.

It is recommended for the preparation of reinforced layers of CERESIT Ceretherm ITE and traditional coatings.

CT 16 can be applied to particle board surfaces, drywall, plaster coatings, all types of concrete, and durable paints.

CHARACTERISTICS


UV Absorbers

They absorb harmful UV rays like a filter on your facade.


Thanks to UV absorbers

  • The temperature of the facade is lower
  • the coating is protected even in the deeper sections of the film

Free Radical Trappers

Their task is to protect the facade against the effects of free radicals, which destroy the polymer bonds in the structure of the coating.

The free radical traps capture and deactivate free radicals before other reactions lead to the degradation of polymers.

The free radical sensors are activated by the action of light and oxygen and contribute to the self-repair process of polymer bonds within the structure of the coating.


Thanks to free radical traps:

  • Polymer bonds are protected
  • The destroyed polymer matrix is regenerated
  • The polymer bonds are strong and the surface of the coating is waterproof

Double Dry Technology

Thanks to this dual mechanism, the surface of the coating dries very quickly and resists moisture buildup.


Bioprotect Technology

Protection against the development of microorganisms and their destructive effects
